Small-diameter parts that are long, slender or have many features, such as shafts, pins, connectors and fittings. On a Swiss-type lathe the bar is supported by a guide bushing right next to the tool, so long parts stay stable, and turning, milling, drilling and threading can be finished in one setup.
On a Swiss-type (sliding headstock) lathe the bar moves forward through the guide bushing while the tools stay close to the cut. On a conventional fixed-headstock lathe the bar stays in the chuck and the tools travel along it. Swiss-type is the better choice for small, long or complex parts in volume. Fixed-headstock lathes suit larger diameters and short, simple parts. We run Swiss-type machines in our own shop and send fixed-headstock work to partner shops.
Swiss-type turn-mill parts are made on DELI Precision's own 7 machines. Larger diameters, fixed-headstock turning and surface treatments are done by long-term partner shops. We handle the quotation, schedule and shipping, so you work with one supplier.

Samples from 1 piece (sample orders of 1–10 pcs are welcome). Bulk production starts from 500 pcs, on the same machine and program as your approved sample.

Bar diameter Ø1.0–42.0 mm (round, hex or square bar), tolerances to ±0.01 mm, and threads from M1.0. Swiss-type parts are turned, milled, drilled, threaded and knurled in one setup on our own machines. Larger diameters are made by our partner shops.

Yes. We coordinate anodizing, nickel / zinc / chrome plating, black oxide, passivation, heat treatment, mirror polishing, centerless grinding and vibration finishing. You deal with one contact and receive one shipment.
A full dimensional first-article check before the run continues, hourly in-process patrol sampling with data logging, 2.5D vision measurement, and outgoing sampling inspection (dimensional and visual) before shipment.
